Chapter 2 — Interference Hints
Hub: main guide.
The game features a distinctive gimmick: the splitting of the world's lines.
| ID | Level | Revelation | Hints |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2-1 | Breakthrough | Collision tutorial. Push one box from different directions at once to cause a collision. A collision copies the current stage (a worldline), and one participating Theta moves to the newly created worldline. If Theta stands on a goal in one worldline, that goal activates on the other worldlines too. | |
| 2-2 | Intersect | Similar to 2-1, but with a broken wall. Let's start a clash from another direction. | |
| 2-3 | Vault | Use keys and locks to build terrain for a collision. Make room to push the box. | |
| 2-4 | Occupancy: | The box is used instead of the wall because it is surrounded by spikes and the wall cannot be used. | |
| 2-5 | Crush | You can also trigger a collision by pushing boxes toward each other at the same time. | |
| 2-6 | Empty | Use the face-to-face collision used in 2-5. | |
| 2-7 | Mirror Image | After causing a collision, use the box as weight on a switch. | |
| 2-8 | transduction/transfer/communication/transmit/transduce/transfer/communicate/convey (vs)/ | When you push boxes lined up in a row, every box in the line moves. Use that to trigger a collision. | |
| 2-9 | Cover, Ice | Theta slides on the ice until she hits the wall. | |
| 2-10 | Ice lake | Theta on the ice sheet continues to slide until she falls off the ice sheet. Use this to adjust the interval between thetas | |
| 2-11 | Ice Hockey | If theta, etc. collides with a box on the ice sheet, it will stop on the spot and the box will slide in the direction it was pressed. Go to the goal by using the box instead of the wall. | |
| 2-12 | Interleaving | If the theta enters the same cell at the same time, it will fuse, but even if the theta passes each other on the ice sheet, it will not fuse. | |
| 2-13 | Ice wagon | Pass through the switch block to prevent theta from fusing with each other. Use the box experienced in 2-8 to use the stationary. | |
| 2-14 | Ice rink | One world line does not tackle two goals at the same time, so use a collision. | |
| 2-15 | Sight | The goal is surrounded by thorns and requires a collision. The point is the orientation when it is triggered. | |
| 2-16 | Delay | Theta must be in contact with the box at the same time to make use of the ice sheet to create a collision. Find a position where the distance between each theta and the box is equal. | |
| 2-17 | Detonating cord | Use the space at the top-left to get within collision range. | |
| 2-18 | Economic equilibrium | If a theta or box that slides face-to-face on the ice sheet is adjacent to each other, both will stop on the spot. Use this to push the box deeper. | |
| 2-19 | Chain | You must slide a box onto a switch while causing a collision. Use the ice stop technique from 2-18. | |
| 2-20 | Pursuit | Adjust the position of theta with 1 space ice sheet and fill the goal on the ice sheet with 4 theta. | |
| 2-21 | Train | Each of the three rows has a fork at the end of the ice sheet. Use the box experienced in 2-8 to get the fork from above while still using. | |
| 2-22 | Life | When theta and theta enter the same cell at the same time, they fuse. Your belongings will be aggregated (not added) at the time of fusion, so use this to open all locks. | |
| 2-23 | Sakaka | A level that uses one box and two forks to complete 8 goals. Theta not involved in the collision will be copied to both. | |
| 2-24 | Double-winged | There is only one box for pressing the switch, so a collision must occur. You do not need to open all the locks. A total of six thetas are required: four at the goal and two at the switch. | |
| 2-25 | SQUARE | Create four pairings of switches in two different colors. You must generate four worldlines in a single action. | |
| 2-Y | Flowing Water | ||
| 2-A | Release | Levels with level names A-T have a high difficulty level. There is little space to cause a collision, and the box must be transported in a large swing. The point is to press the switch every other movement, such as 1-14. | |
| 2-B | Whale | The goal is blocked by a blue switch block and must pass through the theta with the box fastened on top of the blue switch. Theta and I will create a shape to sandwich the box. | |
| 2-C | Filling | Using a box and two locks, you can stop on the ice up to three times. Perform the split last. | |
| 2-D | Cryptotaenia | You need to create three world lines to meet the three goals. Since there is only one terrain that can be used for a collision, we will consider how to press from three directions at the same time. | |
| 2-G | Divergence Chord | The goal is isolated and the four world lines need to be created in one motion. Collisions can also occur outside of theta, and a box pressed by theta can cause a continuous collision in the form of a box pressed by theta. | |
| 2-X | Decline | This is a meta level that cannot be cleared by addition. We need to think of other combinations. Use the box on the ice on the field. |
Direct product (×)
Spoiler — Chapter 2 — Interference — Direct product (×)
A technique that bundles multiple levels into one meta-level while keeping separate worldlines (unlike addition (+), which merges into one worldline). Goals on each level copy to the same coordinates on the others. Triggered when Thetas on different worldlines enter those levels at once. Notation: LevelName1 × LevelName2.
